  Exasperating!
  
  I've been here twice over two years, and while there is a definite sense of expertise in the woman who served me, she is stubborn and arrogant.
  
  Last year she challenged my daughter's teacher's opinion on 3/4 v 4/4 size. I followed her advice and bought the 3/4. Now I'm buying a 4/4 as the 3/4 is too short for my 13 yr old.
  
  Today she all but refused to show me violins unless my daughter was with me. I understand her reasons, but I have mine too!
  I left the shop in disbelief at her stubborn refusal to listen to them.
  
  Go elsewhere....

  We went here on the recommendation of my daughter's violin instructor. Surrounded by so many musical instruments, Harry Potter came to mind.
  
  They measured my daughter for a violin, set her up with everything she needed and then very patiently walked her though the care and use of every aspect of the instrument.
  
  Next to us a much more experienced student was upgrading to a higher quality violin and was talking shop with another store employee. She was clearly happy with what she was getting.
  
  Highly recommended - from the complete novice to the artists with skills to which we can only aspire!
